Originally from New Jersey, working two jobs and taking evening classes didn’t allow much fun time. I had a terrible crush on a tall dark and handsome guy and I talked him into giving me a ride on his bike at lunch time one day. The Bug Bit, but there was little I could do about it at the time.

Moving to Florida with my two boys being near my parents and finding work were my next challenges. I was hired by a really nice gentleman at a local law firm. He taught me everything he knew about personal injury and I absorbed it like a sponge. Within a year we were married. Ten years into the relationship and Jim announced that he was selling the deck boat and buying a motorcycle while calmly stating he didn’t take passengers and I would need to have my own ride.
We signed up for the riding class which was not easy for me. I’m not very coordinated except when it comes to dancing, another one of my passions.

After getting my endorsement on the Suzuki, I bought a 2005 Yamaha, 650 V-Star eventually trading it in for a 1500cc Victory King Pin, a made-in-America motorcycle that I have been riding for the past three years.

My husband discovered Women in the Wind for me and I’m glad he did. I love all my WITW sisters and we are always here for one another. The diverse backgrounds, mutual respect and admiration for each other make for wonderful excursions.
