Hi there - My name is Sandie.

I am the current Secretary for WITW-IB Chapter.
My real hobby is being their Web-Mistress. (Can you imagine being a Mistress at this stage of my life?) This is also one of the largest websites for e-cards and I am always adding new stuff in all the different areas of our site. Here’s the link – go see for yourself: http://witw-ib.com/ .

In August of 2006 I bought my first Harley, a V-rod. I probably should have bought a different type, but I am getting the hang of it and haven’t laid it down in soft black-top, yet!

Many gals my age (60 plus is all I’ll admit to…) learned the bike basics as a teenager, riding on trips with boyfriends or husbands. Can you imagine they taught us how to start them and steer. Gawd forbid we should want to own a bike! That thought never entered their craniums.

Originally from Cincinnati/Cleveland OH I moved south to Cape Coral FL 20 years ago. Before retiring, I worked at a plastic coating company that had over three dozen employees, supervising three shifts. I spent 30+ years in that business. I was the personnel manager and the office manager too. Was that really 30 years ago?

Then the love of my life for 30 years passed away in 2006 - who knows maybe that is why I purchased my bike, to feel the freedom and wind . Recently my youngest son, passed away - that sure was a tuff one. I didn’t ride for a few months and all my sisters helped get me through the hard times and still do. I felt being safe and not riding was a better option than having my group worry about me. I believe it is very important to be focused and concentrating on the roads. It is about safety after all.

Enough about me - hope you enjoy the site and maybe one day our roads will cross.

Ride safe and keep the shinny side up!
